倫敦又到了風大雨大的秋季， 趁著有太陽的週末到Strawberry Hill郊遊，光聽名字就覺得很可愛。 那裡有St. Mary University， 大學旁邊有個哥德式的小城堡Strawberry Hill House， 小城堡的主人名字是Horace Walpole， 我大概知道他是英國首任首相的兒子，同時是個政治家和作家， 在夏天的時候他會從倫敦來到這小城堡渡假和寫作。 他的家在輾轉被買賣後最後成為文化遺產並翻新供人欣賞。 而城堡內很多房間的設計靈感來自於英國不同教堂如York Minister、Canterbury Cathedral和Westminster Abbey。 到底倫敦郊區有多少個Summer House.... 剛過去的星期日去到Columbia Road Flower Market， 這個位於倫敦Brick Lane附近的market跟旺角花墟一樣人山人海， 可能去拍照的人比買花的人還要更多！ 10月份仍然有很多繡球花，3個£10，看見就讓人忍不住想買了！ 另一方面他們把很多已成乾花的繡球花掛在帳篷，很有聖誕節氣氛！好想要！ 除花和植物以外，market還有很多特色小店， 這次讓我發現原來平時會逛的茶具店入面有間Tea Room - Cake Hole。 他的蛋糕和cream tea也很不錯呢！ 由於market只在星期日的8am-2pm對外開放，想買花的人真的...要早點起床! 如果星期日會在倫敦旅行的人記得要去! 逛完後還可以到Brick Lane Sunday Up Market繼續買！:P ...
