Summer time in U.K. is beautiful, not only because of the lovely sunshine, U.K. also has lots of wonderful flowers field like there're many lavender fields in Mayfield, Hitchin, Kent and Cotswold. Apart from lavender fields, this year we went to a lovely confetti flower field in Pershore on beginning of July, the confetti flower field only opened for 10days from end of June to beginning of July, and I was so glad that I can visit the flower field this year!

The confetti flower field was having lots of delphiniums and cornflowers bloom, in petals colour, they were stunning and blooming so beautifully. The flower field was also having the flag with beautiful colurful flowers which looked incredible! This flower field liked a hidden gem in England,  and glad that we didn't miss it!

We took the train from Paddington to Evesham, it took around 2 hours and we took taxi from the train station to the confetti flower field, there were so many visitors since it was Saturday! The flower field was a perfect place to wander and relax!

If you want to visit this lovely confetti flower field, you have to wait next year when they announce the opening time!

Day 4

We were so lucky that there was a flea marketing in Alfama on Tuesday! I loved to explore flea market to discover interesting stuff! WOOO the market was huge, lots of vintage stuff especially lights and calligraphy pen! OH I loved them! They had lots of vintage books, piano sheets etc. it was worth to spend sometimes to explore. Then...!__! it was time to back to London. I'm sure I will be back and visit Porto next time!

Day 3

Glad that the sun was back! We took a train to Sintra and I was so looking forward to visiting the Palace de Pena! The train was so darked at the beginning and it looked like scene of Train to Busan...XDXD. It took around 40 mins to arrive Sintra and this island was lovely! I was glad that we arranged to visit country side. The most exciting thing was to walk to the opposite side of the palace so we could view the whole palace! It was colourful and fairy-tale. This palace has become my top list of must-go place! We also visited Quinta da Regaleira, it was gorgeous and particularly loved the mystery caves.

This was my 1st time to visit Lisbon, the colourful city, culture, and history, gorgeous facades were everywhere, the food was so tasty especially those seafood (not much chances to have seafood in London) and nata!

Day 1

We arrived Lisbon at night so we went out for dinner after check-in to the airbnb, which was stylish, newly refurbished and we loved our stay there so much! I was so looking forward to having seafood but beef & pork were good enough! The prawns with garlic & butter was perfect and i was hoping for another dish...

Day 2
lol the weather report was so right, it kept raining whole day, we went to Manteigaria to taste the custard tarts and Gelao. After that we went to the popular area Alfama by tram 28. Coz it was raining all the time, we went back to the Time Out Food market to have our lunch. It was okay for me maybe it was too crowded.

Unfortunately it was raining all day long so we decided to go back to airbnb to rest for a while, then we went to Cervejaria Ramiro for dinner!!! We queued approx. 20mins and their seafood was so delicious and fresh which was totally different experience compared with UK. We ordered king crab, king prawns and clams. We loved all of them and it was worth to queue and I highly recommend this restaurant!

Day 3 & 4 will be on the next post XD

Here comes to the last month of December, London is now full of festive decorations, Xmas tree & lights. I am in love with London again!

Last week we admired the seasonal illuminations lighting in Kew Garden, it was so festive and Kew Garden in dark was so beautiful, and it looked like a magical place. Especially the light show in Palm House which was stunning! I forgot how freezing I was and had a walk around the park for two hours?! Having mulled wine and toasted marshmallow which kept myself warm!

It's worth to spend some pounds to enjoy the night in Kew Garden!
You can directly purchase tickets via Christmas at Kew

After going to Château de Versailles, we went back to city center to shop XD and had our early dinner.  Again, we booked the table via TheFork. The restaurant was so cozy and silent, and we had a great meal there. I liked it so much as the environment was comfortable and we didn't need to be rush and that's was the best meal in this trip! We had the salmon tartare, duck breast & steak for our main dish.

Restaurant:  Le Balm
